The Butcher’s Kitchen in Birkdale Village is a proper gem. The bacon barms are spot on – thick, crispy bacon and soft fresh rolls, just how they should be. There’s a great range of breakfast and lunch options too, all cooked fresh and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, quick service, and a clean, welcoming space. Best breakfast spot in Southport by far. Great outdoor seating too.

Been eating at the butchers kitchen for years and it’s only getting better. Bought the road runner wrap today and it was genuinely one of the best wraps I’ve ever had. If your in birkdale… eat here.

I was not expecting to find the best burger I’ve ever had so close to home. Honestly, I’d choose this over Wendy’s or Five Guys any day AND it’s better value. The staff and general atmosphere are also great. What more could you want?

Me and my friends come here often it’s our go to place in birkdale village, The staff, service, food and atmosphere is brilliant. Such a family friendly place to go to with baby chance services in toilets catering to everyone showing they truly care for their customers! My go to is the breakfast wrap or the loaded hasbrowns with chicken and chorizo no place like it 10/10 mouth is watering just writing this haha, Such a wide range of options on the menu your left spoilt for choice and great for little ones too with kids choices with amazing prices too add to that Also perfect if ur on the go for takeaway food is always fresh hot and delicious 100% best place in Southport for a bite to eat would always recommend!!! I have tried all 3 locations and always had a 10/10 experience thankyou the butchers kitchen crew!

Little gem of a place in Birkdale village. Usual breaky scran, but amazing quality level on the meat, due to owners Colin and family being actual butchers! Has been a stalwart for breaky and brunch for me. Always busy and now have a cute back room for a more leisurely nosh of some pork. Top picks are the full breakfast wrap, there brisket loaded fries, and unconventionally there Flat White! Absolute top drawer.

We took a lovely walk from Southport into Birkdale and decided to check out the local restaurants. The Butcher’s Kitchen immediately caught our eye and felt really inviting. We ordered a mix of burgers, noodles, and a club sandwich, all of which were absolutely delicious. The beer was decent and the staff really made us feel welcome. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re in Birkdale. They also have an infinity Burger Challenge, which we decided to pass on this time, but maybe next time!
